We are so excited to get these heroes on the runway to celebrate their strength and resilience. The funds raised at the Spring Brass Ring help our important cause – patient support, awareness, and research – and we are so thankful to have Ben Higgins, Rebecca Minkoff, and Uchenna Nwosu at the event to support people living with type 1 diabetes,” said Dana Davis, Executive Director of the Children’s Diabetes Foundation.nnSpring Brass Ring Auction During the live auction, Nwosu will present his generous donation, which includes two tickets to a Los Angeles Chargers home game in Los Angeles, warm-up field passes, a meet & greet with Uchenna, a one-night hotel stay in the Los Angeles area, and autographed cleats with the Children’s Diabetes Foundation logo that he wore during the Los Angeles Chargers vs. Cincinnati Bengals game on December 9, 2018.nnBorn and raised in Carson, Calif., Nwosu attended the University of Southern California where he played football and earned a degree in political science.
