The Jewels for Hope program was founded in 2004 by parents of children with type 1 diabetes, using a love of jewelry to benefit the Children’s Diabetes Foundation. The dedicated committee collects, sorts, prices, and prepares pre-loved jewelry donations for a variety of sales throughout the year. Since its inception, Jewels for Hope has raised over $500,000 for patient programs at the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes.
