ATDC Conference
The Practical Ways to Achieve Targets in Diabetes Care (ATDC) Conference is an in-person annual educational event focused on practical diabetes care and emerging technology for healthcare providers. It offers expert talks, case-based learning, workshops, Q&A sessions, and industry exhibits.

Brass Ring Luncheon & Fashion Show
Since 1978, this annual fundraising event has supported people and families affected by type 1 diabetes. The day celebrates the Guild of CDF and features a silent auction, a Heroes’ Walk featuring CDF Advocates, live auction, lunch, and a fashion show with proceeds funding diabetes care, education, support, and research.

The Carousel Ball
The Carousel Ball is the Children’s Diabetes Foundation’s signature fundraiser and one of Colorado’s largest nonprofit galas, raising critical funds and awareness for type 1 diabetes. This formal evening features silent and live auctions, dinner, exceptional entertainment, and musical performances, with past performers including Usher, Reba McEntire, and the Goo Goo Dolls. Since its inception in 1978—when Frank Sinatra first took the microphone—the iconic event has been a favorite among Hollywood and community leaders alike, bringing together influential figures from across industries for an unforgettable evening.

Diabetes Awareness Month
A yearly campaign held every November to raise awareness of type 1 diabetes, educate the public, and support those affected. It highlights World Diabetes Day (November 14) with local events and encourages community involvement — like wearing blue, sharing stories, educational outreach, and partner promotions — to increase visibility, understanding, and support for the cause.

Diamonds for Diabetes
: Hosted by Thollot & Co. Jewelers, Diamonds for Diabetes is an annual holiday-season fundraising event. It starts with a kickoff gathering in late November and runs through the end of the year, where people can make a donation in exchange for a small surprise ornament. 100% of proceeds from the event go to CDF.

EPIC Diabetes Conference
The Empowering Patients for Individualized Care (EPIC) Diabetes Conference is an annual educational event presented by CDF and the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes where people affected by type 1 and type 2 diabetes, caregivers, and healthcare professionals can learn about diabetes care, technology, and management in a supportive environment. It features presentations by diabetes specialists, opportunities to ask questions, build community connections, and gain practical insights to help improve individualized diabetes care.

Run for the Ring
Every summer, the annual Run for the Ring 5K & Kids Fun Run welcomes hundreds of loyal supporters and fitness enthusiasts to walk, run, and raise funds to support patients and families living with type 1 diabetes. In addition to the 5K and Fun Run, attendees are treated to an exhibitor village and Fun Zone for kids with activities such as hamster balls, a water maze, and face painting. A foam party awaits all race finishers.

Tied to a Cure Denver Golf Tournament
Tied to a Cure Denver is a charity golf tournament that raises funds and awareness for type 1 diabetes support, research, and education. Participants enjoy a day of golf, contests, food, and community engagement.

Tied to a Cure Las Vegas Flyaway Golf Tournament
Sponsored by McDonald Automotive, Tied to a Cure Las Vegas is a two-day golf getaway fundraising event at Shadow Creek Golf Course and a premier Las Vegas hotel with related activities (like auctions and social events).
